Broiler Chicken

The Royal Society of Open Science has recently done a study about how broiler chickens are a key indicator species for the Anthropocene Epoch. This means that the massive domestic chicken population grown to support human consumption habits is causing a strain on ecosystems around the world, and we need to find more effective ways to feed ourselves.
